Housing Up enjoys its partnerships with local churches. These partnerships bring us closer to our vision of ending family homelessness by 2020 through many programs and outreach opportunities. A very successful example is the Adopt-An-Apartment Program through which a church can furnish the future home of a once at-risk or homeless family. We provide churches with various community service opportunities from gardening to helping a student complete his or her homework. We also are happy to speak at adult forums to illuminate the problem of homelessness and how we as a society can succeed in housing and supporting homeless families. Other partnerships have included material and financial donations or helping our families celebrate with a holiday party. Please contact us if you believe your church would like to join our work to end homelessness.
