Living in the City is happening in-person on October 3, 2023! We’re so excited for an evening of interactive and educational fun to celebrate the more than 900 families we serve.

MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT: Thanks to two generous donors, all ticket sales and night-of auction donations at the event will be matched to $10,000. Thanks to this generous gift, your contributions will be able to go twice as far.

Living in the City is our most important fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from the event directly support our families; not a cent is spent on event expenses or overhead. Thanks for Supporting Our 2023 Back to School Drive

As students in Housing Up’s programs return to school this fall, our 2023 Back to School Drive aimed to provide each student with a new backpack filled with supplies for a successful school year. With the help of our generous partners and donors, we assembled and distributed over 650 backpacks. Every school-age child in our permanent supportive housing, rapid re-housing and affordable housing programs who needed a backpack of school supplies received one, an impact that reached nearly 600 households across DC.
