WELCOME JULIA MORAN MORTON, VP OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING
We’re pleased to introduce Julia Moran Morton as our new Vice President of Affordable Housing. Julia will lead our affordable housing team, comprised of Senior Project Manager Emily Oliver and Project Intern Dawit Beru. Julia has decades of experience in residential and affordable housing development in Washington DC, New York, Annapolis and even the British West Indies. Julia has engaged with various housing groups in the city, including Jubilee Housing, Jubilee Enterprise and Building Futures, developing their multi-family projects as the Director of Development & Asset Management. Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Connecticut College and a Master of Science from Columbia University School of Architecture & Urban Planning with an emphasis on housing and real estate development. Prior to her housing development career, she engaged in social service work as a counselor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters; a social worker at a camp for homeless and low-income girls; and a counselor at an emergency homeless shelter. She is a long-time resident of the District of Columbia.
