Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I moved to D.C. in 2022 to begin a career in the affordable housing and community development field with Enterprise Community Partners. As a Program Manager with Enterprise, I engage with communities across the U.S. to strategize around housing policy reform and programmatic interventions for increasing housing affordability and supply. 

What inspired you to join Housing Up’s Associate Board?

An interest in supporting my community in a more direct way led me to join the Housing Up Associate Board in 2025. As a member of the Associate Board, I hope to have a stronger and more impactful presence in my community by raising awareness of Housing Up’s mission and contributing to the work in alignment with that mission. 

What do you wish more people knew about affordable housing and homelessness?

Affordable housing can mean so many different things to so many different people. Everyone, regardless of their income, needs housing that is affordable to them. There is no single characteristic, family type, or industry that requires affordable housing more than another, nor is there just one circumstance or situation that may cause housing instability. It is because of organizations like Housing Up, which provide housing support of all kinds, that make our D.C. community a place of pride and belonging.
