About the Event:

The pandemic has drastically heightened the inequities low-income women of color face, and because these injustices have existed for decades before 2020, we know they will sadly outlast COVID-19. However, the pandemic has underscored how sheltering in place does not inflict equivalent suffering on all people: women of color have been laid-off in record numbers, lack of safe & stable childcare has  increased, and mandated reporters have had fewer interactions with families at risk of experiencing domestic violence, creating a perfect storm for a pandemic within a pandemic. 

Join our panel discussion on the intersection of housing, employment and domestic violence, and the roles we can play in addressing the compounding crises facing women of color today.
