Launching Our 2026 Holiday Drive!
The giving season is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to launch our 2026 Holiday Drive! Each year, our generous donors and community partners come together to ensure children in our permanent supportive housing program and affordable housing communities receive gifts.
From 2025 to 2026, family homelessness in DC skyrocketed by 15.8 percent. As critical resources shrink and the cost of living continues to rise, many of the families we serve are struggling to maintain the stability they have worked so hard to achieve. This year, give the gift of hope and support the close to 600 families, including 800 children, we serve.
Interested in making a difference this holiday season? Here are the ways you can make an impact:
- Donate to our Holiday Drive Fund: Your gift helps us purchase presents for the kids in our permanent supportive housing program.
- Become a Community Sponsor: Engage your workplace, faith-based organization, or community group to collect gifts for entire Housing Up communities. To get started, email Shahidah Abdul-Lateef at sabdul-lateef@housingup.org.
