Happy 2022! We want to thank our community for their support in 2021, which allowed us to continue serving nearly 900 vulnerable families in Washington, DC across our four housing programs. Since 1990, we’ve helped homeless and at-risk families thrive by providing deeply affordable housing and opportunities for the entire family.
Because of you, Housing Up is an integral part of the solution to end family homelessness and increase DC’s affordable housing stock. As we walk into this new year, we want to share the impact you’ve made on the families we serve through Housing Up’s 2021 Annual Report.
Thank you for supporting our 2021 Holiday Drive!
With your help, Housing Up ended 2021 with a successful Holiday Drive, raising more than $23,000 to support vulnerable families. This year’s drive served more than 300 families in our permanent supportive housing and resident services programs. We saw support from 11 corporate, nonprofit, and faith-based partners and more than 30 individual donors.
We’re so grateful to all who contributed to this year’s drive and we are excited to continue partnering with you to meet the needs of the families we serve.

“A Seat at the Table” Event Series is Back for 2022!
In 2021, we introduced our virtual event series, “A Seat at the Table with Housing Up”, to connect with our community members in a socially distanced world. We talked about topics including COVID’s impact on women and families of color, inequities in our education system, and what we at Housing Up are doing about it.
We’re excited to share that “A Seat at the Table” virtual events are BACK for 2022. Stay tuned for a women-focused panel this spring and more events each quarter, culminating in Living in the City in October.
